Born and primed in Europe, Producer and Dj Walter Vice has the ability to transform any event into a controlled frenzy through musical expertise and pulsating sounds. Walter’s development began at a young age when his father and godfather performed on guitar and piano, respectively, at small ethnic gatherings. Repeated attendance soon sparked his interest in music, live performance and entertainment – that is most evident every time he steps foot behind the decks. Walter found his musical niche years later, as he first stood behind a pair of Pioneer CDj 200s. Receiving much satisfaction from DJing, he soon embarked on his own journey by performing at small social events and local bar.
By late 2007, Walter started playing at all ages events at Toronto’s Seven Lounge and Cognac Club. Given the opportunity to perform in front of larger crowds, he adopted a style of play that few can duplicate. This entails DJing with unique mash-up flair while incorporating original production, edits and remixes. Walter Vice became known as the ultimate crowd pleaser. Taking dance floors by storm every time he stepped into the building has led “Walter Vice” to become a staple name in the Canadian club scene.
Since those early stages, Walter has held numerous weekly residencies at various clubs including, Tryst, Cobra, Rockwood, The Venue and My Apartment. Walter talents have also presented him with high-status partnerships, which include celebrities such as Mia Martina, Karl Wolf and Alessia to name a few. Most notably, Walter Vice opened a show for Drake and played the official Z103.5 FM New Years Eve Live to Air for two consecutive years.
