"Leland", the debut album by Francis Harris on Scissor & Thread is Harris' most expansive work to date, a requiem for the artists father and was released released to coincide with the second anniversary of his passing. It features Danish vocalist Gry on three tracks including “lostfound,” the first single and video which was remixed by Matthew Herbert and debuted on Pitchfork. Also featured throughout are Emil Abramyan, whose poignant performance on cello evokes comparison to Arthur Russell, and Greg Paulus (No Regular Play/Matthew Dear Band), whose improvisational free jazz inspired trumpet accents converse thoughtfully with Harris’ own tonal melodies performed on piano and guitar. Determined to produce electronic music with warmth and true dynamic range, Harris recorded and mixed “Leland” with Jordan Lieb on an analog SSL and then enlisted legendary engineer Joe Lambert to master the project. Francis Harris is joined by New York's indisputable afterhours champion!

Alexi Delano
Born in Chile and raised in Sweden, Alexi Delano dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivacious techno. With more than two decades on stage, he has been able to combine different roots and facets of the contemporary music scale.

Alexi is intimately linked to the Plus 8, Clink Records and Truesoul labels. Each one of his projects has left a remarkable imprint on the minimal/techno scene. Alongside fellow Swedes Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, Jesper Dahlback, Joel Mull and others, Alexi is a forerunner of the Swedish electronic music movement of the mid 90s, releasing on techno labels such as Missile, Primate, Hybrid, Svek and many more.

With a production and DJ style that sways neatly between house and techno, he consistently surprises with each release. Just listen to his “Would You?” track released on Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle's label ‘Items And Things’ of the M_nus family; or the acid house classic “Believe Me” that he co-produced with Jesper Dahlback for Steve Bugs ‘Poker Flat’ label; continue with his and Xpansul's huge “Echolocation” track on Richie Hawtin's ‘Plus 8’ label and you will get an idea of this mans eclecticism and creativity.
