We love BASS music. We know you love it too. This intimate show is as at Sapphire lounge with the doors locked between the two clubs. We have re-inforced high-quality sound. Jenny Vilify is making waves from East to West. Her night "Bass Drive" was voted number 1 club night by Montreal Mirror readers. Jake is back to share his reggae-filled brand of Dubstep. Welcome JayJay's first FW appearance.

A pair of SEXY SOUNDS festival tickets will be drawn at midnight. Be sure to arrive before 11PM for your ballot.

Montreal’s VILIFY has taken her city’s electronic music scene by storm.
Founder and resident DJ of Montreal’s most popular weekly ‘Bass Drive Wednesdays’, (voted #1 Best Club Night in The Mirror’s Best of Montreal 2011) her night pushes the hardest and darkest Dubstep, DNB, Jungle and more.

Voted #2 Best Club DJ in The Mirror’s Best of Montreal 2011, she has built up an enviable reputation with her signature dubstep sets, versatility over the entire DNB spectrum & whatever else she feels like (hip hop, reggae, jazz, raggacore, breakcore, metal).

Appearing alongside the likes of Skream, Benga, Goldie, Rusko(X2) Dieselboy(X3), Borgore(X2) Dj Hype, Nero, Bassnectar, Excision, Datsik, Starkey and many more, finalist at the 2007 Halifax DJ Olympics and having played all across the country as well as some of the hottest spots in the U.S. (L.A., NY & more), Vilify has proven that she can keep up with the big boys of bass.

Watch out for this pretty little thing, her dirty beats will destroy your soles.

Dubconscious has come to represent both the east and the western coast of Canada. Born in Toronto & raised on the jungle & drum’n’bass sounds permeating the city in the late 90s & early 2000s, he developed a taste for hard beats drenched in reggae vibes. 2004 brought a big move across the country to the city of Victoria, which was nurturing a fledgling breaks & jungle scene – by the end of his first year of University, he had bought his first set of Technics and the seed was planted. Bouncing back & forth between TO & Vic for the next 3 years of school presented plenty of chances to play to different music to new crowds, adding reggae & dancehall to the repertoire, as well dubstep – in its infancy at this point. After school the move was made back east, joining up with the Dubslingers crew in Toronto – who are still holding down Canada’s longest running dubstep weekly, Dubslingers Wednesdays at Thymeless.

After having established a name for himself in Toronto’s competitive scene, he headed west once more, this time settling in Nelson, BC. Since the start of 2010, momentum has been gaining for the DJ – opening some of the more prestigious bass music shows in the area (ie Rusko) up until March when he took off to complete his first overseas tour through Spain. That summer brought performances at plenty of festivals including Shambhala, Starbelly, & Harvest Festival in Ontario – followed by another cross-country tour for the month of September. Having settled in for another year in the Kootenays, Dubconscious can be caught playing shows all over western Canada, and has already been confirmed to play on the Beach Stage at Shambhala again in 2011.

Dubconscious has appeared in nearly every major city in Canada, sharing the stage with the likes of The Roots, Andy C, Mixmaster Mike, Shy FX & Skibadee, Rusko, Dillinja, Plastician, the Glitch Mob, An-Ten-Nae, Mat The Alien, Crissy Criss, Antiserum, Marcus Visionary, ill.gates, Jacky Murda, Michael Red, Max Ulis, Taal Mala & B Traits – just to name a handful.
