DJ Cams
Named “Best of the Bay Area” by San Francisco Magazine and called “one of the finest DJ’s in San Francisco” by Haute Living Magazine, Bay Area native DJ CAMS has come a long way from recording mix tapes off the radio as a kid and from playing the principal cello in his high school orchestra. A classically trained musician, CAMS brings an ear for mixing that is often lost in today’s world of DJ’ing. He is a true music evangelist of all genres, and cites influences ranging from big room house legends Sasha & Digweed to open format masters DJ AM and Z-Trip.
His versatility, creativity, and crowd sense have made CAMS one of the Bay Area’s most sought after party-rocking DJ’s, and he consistently works alongside its top promoters and artists. CAMS currently tenders residencies at the most exclusive venues in San Francisco, including Manor West, Infusion Lounge, The Ambassador, Vessel and Harlot. His events are frequently attended by celebrities such as Carmen Electra, David Ortiz, the Wayans brothers, Too Short, Donnie Wahlberg, and the World Champion San Francisco Giants. In addition, CAMS regularly shares the stage with artists such as hip hop legend DJ Jazzy Jeff, turntable legend Mix Master Mike, #1 UK recording artist Ellie Goulding, Warren G, Third Eye Blind, Zion I, DJ Spider, and DJ Homicide.
This past year was highlighted by Google selecting CAMS to DJ the company’s 2011 Ads Holiday Party for 1,400 guests at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He has also spun for numerous corporate sponsors including Verizon, McAfee, Bloomingdales, Kiehl’s, Wyse Technology, and MAC Cosmetics.
In the spring of 2010, CAMS was selected as an official mix show DJ for San Francisco’s #1 rated hit music station 99.7 NOW FM. His Friday Nite Mix is currently heard by well over 12,000 listeners every week.
CAMS is represented by Los Angeles-based national DJ agency AgencyDJs, and is sponsored by NOS Energy Drink, Dubset, and United+Taken clothing.
