A showcase of cutting edge DJ's, Producers, and live acts both locally and abroad; VEMF will take place in Victoria on Saturday July 31 and Sunday Aug 1. This all ages event is free to attend and features an exceptional artist lineup, VEMF Interactive seminars, a beer garde, and much more. We'll keep you rockin' till the early morning as VEMF offers multiple nightclub and after hours events both Sat & Sun night.

Khan
12 year veteran of the westcoast intentional dance scene, Khan's lush sets are filled with tribal rhythms, beautiful melodies and mystical landscapes. He is a master of the live mix, seamlessly blending loops and layers, weaving epic soundscapes on the fly from the raw elements of his carefully selected tracks, while building the energy of the dance floor to its peak. His mission is to facilitate deep, transcendent journeys that bring dancers to a state of higher consciousness, awakening and deepening into the mystery of the dance, and to spread his conscious groove to as many souls as he can reach. From peak sets to early morning transformations to glorious daytime throwdowns, Khan can bring life to any dancefloor. Hailing from the city of Victoria on Canada's westcoast, and a summer festival favorite, Khan's infectious spirit is sure to give rise to some serious magic on the dance floor and beyond.

Striving to bring people together through fusion of cultures and sounds, this promoter/dj/producer is frequently found rocking dance floors alongside heavyweights such as Adham Shaikh, Gaudi, David Starfire, Liquid Stranger, Noah Pred and Ganga Giri. Able to deftly navigate dark nightclubs with bumpin' techno, house or chillin it out with some dub, world fusion and downtempo on a sunny afternoon at an outdoor festival, Rowan will get people moving to inspiring music at any kind of gig.

Deep in the woods of a rugged little island, beatfarmer plays the music that drives him to dance. His love for dance carries him through many different styles of music and his passion is mixing organic world music sounds with beats that will move your body to dance and your spirit to soar. Beatfarmer has been performing as a DJ for the past 5 years, as is now producing his own music as well. He has just released "tranceplants", his debut CD of original tribal trance. Whether it's a world fusion set, a deep tribal trance journey, or sacred downtempo... beatfarmer plays for the dancers.
Mountain Eyes & Joshua James
Co-founder of the Rainbow Cathedral, a church based on the ancient practice of all night dance, Mountain Eyes is known for his deep, ethno-infused progressive soundscapes. His sets invoke the sacred tribal spirit within us all, calling on us to shake out the energies and beliefs that hold us back. Getting lost in dancefloors since 2000, Mountain Eyes' musical tastes have been honed by the influence of Delira's rainforest events, the magical SPEC gatherings, and the frequenting of underground clubs. He has shared stages with such masters as Vibrasphere, Human Blue, Adham Shaikh, David Starfire, Osiris Indriya, Telepathic, and Basilisk, Along with west coast music-shaman Joshua James, he has recently been organizing new and full moon gatherings under the banner of the newly formed "Moon Collective". Close your eyes, open your heart, and get ready to go on a journey.
