G.I.BLUNT got his start DJing back in the mid nineties in Vancouver early Rave scene . Originally a down tempo DJ it wasn't long before G.I. was dropping the beats of house , tech and electro , and became a well known staple in Vancouver underground electronic dance movement . About 4 years ago G.I. stop vinyl treasure hunting and made the switch to targeted digital music that he twists , edits , and re-works to create a live style midi controlled DJ performance . Over the past year G.I.BLUNT has started blending his skills as a VJ into his DJ sets , as he is the founder of BLUNTFAKTRORY Visuals and has over 16 years of experience rocking shows around the glob, touring with groups like MSTRKFT . You may have seen G.I.BLUNT DJIng at show like the Fractal Forrest at Shambhala or pretty much every Soundwave, on nearly every stage, not to mention countless events in Vancouver or opening for acts here in Victoria like Thunderheist or Longdockshortwalk . Whether it's his down the roots DJ set of his new style DJ/VJ performance G.I.BLUNT is sure to rock the foundation and re-define your concept of hard, funky, base juiced electro .

For the past 3 years, Colin Barber, aka HappyFeat, has been a constant, positive force in Vancouver Island's electronic music scene. Appearing at clubs, bars, raves, coffee shops, house parties, beaches at sunrise AND sunset, radio shows, and soon to be festivals, this DJ gets around!

Logik’s Twelve year journey has taken him into almost every genre of electronic music, from trance to 2-step/breaks and, deep house. Playing at countless parties, club nights and being a resident DJ of swerve for 3 years has given him a true knowledge of dance floor vibes. His passion for music has always kept him searching for the next new sound to drive people wild. Logik now loves to deliver funky beats and electro bass lines, with a side dish of booty shake’n delight. ?

Mykee

 

Mykee has been a DJ in Victoria for over 10 years. He is mostly known for his company Reliable Entertainment, and his versatile music selection. His ability to surprise a crowd everytime he plays after all this time is nothing short of amazing. Mike has been a huge part of the Vancouver Island scene, contributing some of the largest and most memorable parties and DJ sets to date. It's no wonder he's Van Isle's most on demand DJ & number 1 party rocker!

Ryan Seven

 

Ryan (Seven) has been playing Breaks and Electro House since 2005. He has tackled every sub-genre from funky breaks, dark breaks, house and electro house. If there is one thing Ryan is most proud of in his DJing, it is his stage presence. The ability to rock a crowd is the most gratifying feeling for him. Ryan has had the pleasure of opening for a number of international acts such as: Hyper, Hook N Sling, Bass Kleph, Czech, Deep Impact, Mark Dynamix, and Hyper. In 2006, after DJing for just over a year, Ryan entered the Hush DJ comp in an effort to gain more experience behind the decks, and to see where he stood among many of his mentors that were also competing. What he didn't know was, he would go on to the final round and place 3rd in the competition. It's experiences like this that make Ryan strive to continue pleasing the crowd. Expect nothing short of a high energy set fusing house, breaks and electro, to deliver a final product that won't let you leave the dance floor!

His tireless desire to spread joy through music compels him to perform a magical, unique, hard-hitting style that inspires dance floor revellers to push their limits. No two performances are alike, JELO crafts each set for it's unique environment. Big or small, the sensation is always a full blown spectacle. Since the inception of JELO, clubs & parties across the globe have taken a cue from his incorporation of the spiciest elements of electro house, techno, breaks and rock blended with wild mixing abilities.
