Born in Poland and raised in Canada, Miss Marz has taken influence from many sources. Always creative, and musically attuned, she began her journey into the party scene at an early age. Clubbing at 16, creating art both on canvas and through digital mediums, it wasn't until she began expressing herself musically as a DJ that she knew she had truly found her life-long passion. Miss Marz has since become the veritable poster girl for electronic music in Western Canada although it doesn't hurt that she could be a pin-up poster gal, either. This statuesque and sexy mistress of all things banging and funky has captured the hearts of party-goers and house heads wherever she graces the decks. Cutting her teeth in the west coasts top clubs, playing everything from Trance and Techno to her first loves, Electro and House, this woman has consistently pushed the envelope with genre defying sets and vibrant stage presence. Whether playing huge festivals or spinning at intimate private gatherings, Magnolia packs the dance floor with her flawless mixing and impeccable track selection. Aside from opening for acts like Bad Boy Bill, Steve Porter, Anne Savage, Benny Benassi,Paranoid Jack, DJ Wax, Stereo Soul, Capital J, Yvonne Black, Miss Mea, and closing for Dave Armstrong and Scumfrog, she has also played with and is inspired by house heavy-weight Christian Alvarez.
