From Queens, N.Y. Curtis James Jackson III, better known as 50 Cent, was discovered by Jam Master Jay of RUN DMC. He skyrocketed to hip hop stardom after being signed by famed rappers Eminem and Dr. Dre. His first two albums, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” and “Massacre,” both achieved multi-platinum success and his hit single “In da Club” is still one of the most popular club anthems today. It holds the Billboard record for the most listened-to song in radio history.
In 2003, he founded G-Unit Records, which signed several successful rappers including Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. Aside from his music, 50 Cent has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” in 2005, the Iraq War film “Home of the Brave” in 2006, and “Righteous Kill” in 2008. 50 Cent’s latest album, "Before I Self Destruct," includes the hit single “Baby By Me.”
DJ Marshall Barnes is best known for his unique style and outstanding technical skills. He started spinning after famed DJ Stonerokk took him under his wing. Shortly thereafter, his undeniable talent quickly shot him through the ranks of Hollywood’s elite. Today, Barnes’ eclectic mixes have made him a regular fixture at many of Hollywood’s choice venues and hottest parties.
