Conceived by renowned local designer Elaine Thorsell, the dining room at the Beach House is the latest (and most stunning) incarnation of a 100 year old West Vancouver landmark. With mural pieces by artist Jack Darcus depicting a Dundarave Day adorning one side of the room, the others face out to sea across the driftwood beach and the pier at the foot of 25th Street. From almost every table the islands can be seen across Burrard Inlet (best at sunset) while the comings and goings of the freighters and cruise ships blend the surreal with the tranquil. There is style and comfort to every table.
