i was actually really dissapointed... the attitude of the bouncers really made me start the night off wrong.. everything else made it worse.

I'm not going to say this is a bad club, it's just not THAT great. The atmosphere doesn't measure up to the higher end clubs. One bouncer who works there has a chip on his shoulder and is a real shithead and it seems if you don't tip the bitchy bartender upstairs (not sure if she's still employed) you get your change thrown in your face (happened to a buddy).

Tonic is small dark two-storey club with an extremely limited seating capacity (not much goes on weekdays). The dance floor is small, the music can be great and the crowd is very young. Drinks and staff are okay.

Went to the club on the long weekend Sunday night and the bouncers decided to overcrowd the bar. Suffice to say, we went out for a smoke and they wouldn't let us back in even though our friends were inside and we paid cover. Little lesson for the club, when you pay cover, you get back in. The cops count covers, not heads. They managed to piss off all 20 of us and the consensus is that we won't go back.

I saw tones of western people line-up in front of Tonic everytime when we drove by, then finally we had a chance to club there. The Dj was quite good, the drinks are hot but the dance floor wasn't enough for us to dance ;P

I walked in to this place, and it was completely empty! The crowd comes late, and the dance floor is way too small. But they did do the best they could given the amount of space they have. It's ok, a lot of the younger croud though.

Cool place to kick it if you aren't super into dancing. ALWAYS something goin on here. I went up on a sunday night expecting it to be pretty chill and had a blast. :) Bartenders are super nice.

We waited a long time in line, but in the end my friends and I had fun and thought the wait was worth it. Some of the bartenders were cool and some were rude. The wait for a drink wasn't an issue. Overall we had a pretty good time.

i love this bar! the bouncers are awesome and i love some of the bartenders. seating sucks though. the atmosphere is always good (especially tuesdays)
