Shine, definately one of my favorite clubs. One of the best clubs in Vancouver no doubt. Shine continues to be original since day one. The only two room set up that actually works! 80's night and Saturday nights are the nights to check out. The best hip hop tracks, no heavy radio rotations in this joint. Great bar staff, music selection, good drink prices, and the most halarious door staff.

Rated the best club in Vancouver by the Georgia Straight last year for good reason. If you haven't been to Shine yet then check it out... wicked music. Great people. Good times.

I've been going to shine for more than 3 years now. The one club I know I will have fun at everytime. Just went to Whatever 90's last night. Fan-f-ing-tastic.

This place isn't afraid to try something different and it works! The music is a mix of old and new beats, they had live mcs the night I was there and there is a separate room with a different dj spinning kick ass tracks. Of all the places in downtown, this one really does shine!! Jon the doorman is pure class and gets two thumbs up!!

Shine is still my favorite! I find 80's night the most amusing. The bouncers are great, the music is great. Can't wait to go there again! (Hi emperor_au!!)

First off, this has got to be my favorite club in the city. Consistent music and courteous staff, along with a true underground club style atmosphere. No catering to the mainstream/Granville crowd here. If you want something different and fresh then this is the place to be. So to me the club is tops. Now like everything it depends what night you go. I happened to go recently on a Thursday to check out the new night which a friend of mine does. I go out a lot and i''d have to say it was good to have this sort of night on a weeknight. It was slow in the front, but good music if you''re into nu rave electro etc.. The backroom was packed. Good sound, good grooves and some friendly people. Anyhow, i''d be doing clubbers an injustice if I didn''t tell people about this. Check it for yourself.

i love this place...fond memories were forged here from my vancouver film school days....late nights working on projects were always fulfilled with good times afterwards chilling at Shine...the atmosphere and crowd is what makes this place *insert cheesy grin* shine
