The O.B is the place to be in South Surrey / White Rock. An awesome mix of Canadian and American patrons in a friendly party atmosphere. Right on the beach too!

I just move to south Surrey and discovered the place last year! I got so tired of watching and breaking up fights in some Vancouver night clubs that I just stopped going. Once I didn't know if I wasn't going to get shot when I accidentally looked at a guys girlfriend a little too long (according to him). I'm not saying all Vancouver night clubs are bad, but what a difference I noticed at the Ocean Beach. At the OB as it's known, I find people friendlier. They'd introduce themselves instead picking fights. Last new years eve party was incredible! The party lasted well into 4am. There isn't much else to do in around here and so it really is the only place to party in White Rock! I just noticed The OceanBeach website photo gallery isn't functioning at this time. But it includes photos of past club activities including the huge party last new years! http://www.oceanbeachhotel.ca It's been around since the 1920s. The Ocean Beach will shut down in February for extensive renovation. Oh no! where will I spend Wednesday evernings? Ben

Great place to go and chill with friends before they turn it into the club, the theme partiesa are super fun and everyone has a good time... music kicks ass and the girls are HOT

HOLY COW... went to the foam party last night, and had such a blast. I've been to the OB a number of times, and dayum it's a good party. I gotta tip my hat to the staff and management for being so great. And to the people that hang out there, such a great crowd, very little trouble, and a lot less of the pretentiousness you'll find at the downtown clubs. Great job you guys, I'll be back time and again.... thank you!
