Total college crowd, cheap drinks. Super packed the night we went. Skipped the line and just paid 10 bucks to get in. Has a real ski lodge feel to it. super laid back crowd had a blast would go back in a heart beat.

If you want a super casual, no-bs time, the Cambie is the place to go for a cheap pint. Tons of college kids and backpackers, super fun and friendly place - come as you are.

i've been going to the cambie off/on for 10 years. i've seen alot of young kids grow OLD there. some of the bouncers/servers have been cool. some are downright miserable. do not become a regular unless you don't mind getting laughed at. this club may not be part of the re-devoloped 'new gastown' plans. went there with a young thing.tried to impress her, paid $9.00 for a plate of cold nachos with hardly any cheese. it was 9pm on a saturday night, and that's not a good time for the cook and expediter to take a mental break. like i said, 10 years of memories, but it's time to move on...

Established in 1897? Well apparentlybtheirbattitudes haventvchabged much since then. My friend from Mexico was up for two weeks and was gong home he next day, wanted to meet her cousins here after we had dinner at another bar, but they wouldn''t let her in because she had a Mexican national id and it MIGHT have been fake. She''s 22 and a teacher but anyways. So needless to say I will never go back to this bar after they discriminated against my friend. I can understand that they get fake mexican ids, but if that''s the case then post something on the website saying to bring your passport if you''re from Mexico because I even checked here and their website before hand to see if it was worth going. Very inappropriate, especially considering we live halfway across town, so we''re not going to go home to get a passport to go back to a dirty disgusting racist dive bar.
