Skybar on New Year's was disappointing to say the least. I came to find some hot guys, but didn't find one. Single girls - Skybar is not the place to go!

I've been to skybar twice, once for its opening night and second for generic club crawling. Skybar is very west coast trendy that caters to the mid-20's well dressed professional. The staff are attractive and social, the bouncers are not quite there...and the music varies from awesome to terrible. Overall the place is nothing to write home about, but it's definitely worth checking out for the sake of checking out.

I can rate what the outside looks like! It's funny how you can spend 9 bills on dinner at this club, chill while having drinks as the place heats up and then go outside for a smoke and then be refused re-entry due to capacity issues... Dinner and the service on the top floor was excellent.. wont spit to save the bouncers if they were on fire...

nice looking place, and the rooftop is great in the summer. bartenders and servers are always polite. It's definately more of a weekend spot for the mainstream masses. Music on the weekeends is your basic top40 mainstream radio hip hop on the main dance floor, and some older rock/pop tunes on the other side. The line ups get pretty long with the security doing their best to check everyone in proper, so make prior arrangements before heading down. I do prefer the music and atmosphere during weeknights. A more laid back crowd and less chaos at the doors.

It looks nice inside, but a little bit snobbish. The bouncers were really friendly the night we went (ladies night). Not really packed, older crowd. Got free perfume samples though!

GOODTIMES WITH GOOD PEOPLE, don't have to worry about getting shot cause it's always a positive vibe! Make a request 9 times out of ten if your nice the DJ will play it.

2005/8/3 - first time visited SkyBar but I had a great time there =] great atmosphere, it was awesome* I had met lots of travellers outside from Canada, but where the other side of SkyBar wasn't *hot* enough as the main side??

Love ladies night...some really hot staff, a little pretencious, but after a few drinks everyone calms down and has fun. Make sure you take care of the staff...they will take care of you!!

One of the hottest clubs in Vancouver no doubt, best atmosphere in town... the roof top patio is amazing with its retractable ceiling, tons of tropical plans, fireplaces, VIP lounge with red leather seating. Check out the virtual tours on their clubZone listing to get a small glimps of how impressive this place is. Drink prices are expensive but in line with the quality of the crowd, staff, and venue.
