The place has comfortable seating and really nice waitstaff, but the sound is variable depending on where you sit.
The decor is nice - polished wood, and the stage is beautiful with an airbrushed backdrop. the food is good quality pub grub with nice presentation. Prices are average. The music is variable. they have really good cover bands on Fridays, but they start late.
If you enjoy dancing, Saturday is CHUM Oldies night - you must have a reservation though, the place gets packed.
Sunday afternoons they feature Robbie Laine and the Disciples - not my cup of tea, but draws a big crowd and again you need reservations. the crowd on Saturdays and Sundays is pretty nice. the crowd on weeknights are predictable bar hangers.
A nice thing for smokers is that they have a separately ventilated, enclosed smoking lounge. this will probably go in May 2006 which is when Ontario plans to rescind permission for separate smoking areas.
