I've been to a dozen shows at the Showbox and they've always been on time and great. The sound techs there have the gig setup right the first time, and the place has a good layout for a night out. ~Barry Editor SeattleMojo.com

My favorite venue. I've seen many shows at the Showbox: Del, Cypress Hill, Dj Icey, Baby Anne, and Jurassic 5. Decent sound system and the stage setup allows everyone to see the show. Even all ages events are great there since the bar is setup behing the dance floor. Drink prices can get steep but they're usually worth it. I appreciate the bouncers for keeping the place as drug free as possible. I've even seen a girl get kicked out for puking in the bathroom. The place can get pretty packed and HOT so dress accordingly. If it's a big show get tickets or you'll be standing in line for an hour.
