I have been attending Roxy Night Club 4 times a week for 4 months. 3 weeks ago I left my debit card there by accident and I didn’t think nothing of it. I knew I would be there 2 nights later so I would pick it up then. The following Wednsday I checked online and there was a $46 dollar charge to it. I contacted Ted Pizzio the owner about it and he sent me a nice email. I called him by the number he left me in the email and he was nice. He told me a Mr. Bosco, the other owner would talk to me about it. Mr. Bosco was to busy at the time. He did offer me VIP for the night but I had it anyway. Ted never responded to me. I go up there tonight and Mr. Bosco was nice but Ted was the principle owner. The bartender even stated that I left my card and that he turned it in to the office after charging my bartab to it. When I finally did speak to Ted tonight, he accused me of being a liar ( Appearing to be shocked I was African American) and after mentioning that I have several friends that were not attending until this matter was resolved, He told me it would never be resolved and to tell them not to come back! Now I own a very successful company and I was speechless. I attended this place regularly and three of the bartenders were regularly getting $25 or more tips out of myself and partners of mine per night. They loved us! Then I watched him, out of the blue, walk up to six Phillipino people and tell them they could not enter. These women were very attractive and totally fit in the guidelines of the dress code and his explanation was simply that “I don’t want you here”. One of the women was in tears. She could not understand why she had been singled out. He had the police escort them off the lot. What kind of world do we live in where stupidity like this still happens. It’s almost seemed like he only wants Caucasion people attending his club! Could someone please explain this to me! I’m not getting any answers out of the club owner.
