The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is one of Canada's finest art museums with a permanent collection of 15,000 objects d'art. Our collection features art from Asia, Europe and North America with primary emphasis placed on Canada and Japan.
The Gallery is housed in a combination of contemporary exhibition spaces and an historic 19th century mansion called Gyppeswick.
The Gallery Shop carries an exciting and innovative selection of gifts designed to fit every need and every budget. Of particular note are the fine, original works in clay, blown glass, silver and other media made by many of British Columbia's outstanding artisans. As well, a good selection of art periodicals and the many exhibition catalogues produced by the Gallery's curators are available.
