In addition to being home to the Vancouver Canucks and the Vancouver Ravens, Canada Hockey Place is one of the most active entertainment venues in North America. Since it opened in September 1995, Canada Hockey Place has attracted the biggest names in show business to its stage and has welcomed more than 10 million visitors through its doors. In all, Canada Hockey Place hosts approximately 170 events each year, ranking it among the busiest facilities in North America.
Canada Hockey Place's state-of-the-art features include a Bose sound system that provides acoustics to rival any building in North America as well as OrcaVision, an 8-sided video scoreboard featuring 4 Mitsubishi DiamondVision Mark IV video boards and 4 Whiteway matrix boards. The building also features highly skilled in-house production, lighting and rigging crews and outstanding broadcast capabilities.
Canada Hockey Place has received considerable acclaim for its comfortable seating and superior sightlines. In addition to a premium "Air Canada Club" seating section, the building offers added privacy and comfort with its suite services. 88 executive suites are available on an annual lease, with each suite having the capacity for 14 guests per game or event. Additionally, hospitality suites may be rented to host large or small groups on a per-event basis.
