Once seated inside the restaurant, you feel as though you're in an elegant log cabin with textures of slate and wood, and colours of rust, olive greens and grey blues. The newly renovated Coho Room is a special place to linger before or after your meal featuring a club-like feel with live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Cuisine
Stamped as 'Vancouver's Original Seafood Grill Restaurant', The Salmon House dishes out creative seafood and fine meat cuisine smoked and grilled to perfection with green alderwood achieved by grilling over an open flame. The green alderwood imparts a sweet, smoky flavour - only adding to the intensity of flavours and creating a meal to remember. The Barbecued Salmon entrée is the all-time guest favourite and the kitchen has a hard time keeping up with the demand. The Salmon House serves wild salmon all-year round, specializing in the favored Sockeye salmon. Aside from salmon, Chef Atkinson's culinary crew are experts whether it be creating a delicate salad with panko crusted goat cheese that melts in your mouth or a decadent crème brulee that perfectly finishes your meal, you will always be impressed by the West Coast inspired cuisine.
