Philosophy
Chef Nico Schumermans philosophy is about serving incredible food, rather than status. He believes it's how the food is cooked, presented and the warm atmosphere it is served in. Although Nico's formal 3 star Michelin training is from the best restaurants in Belgium and London, he wants to cook for people who are passionate about food, not the 17th Century Edwardian chair they are sitting in.

Nico and his wife Karri are bringing to like a dream to open amazing restaurant where people will meet, gather and experience fantastic food. This vibrant couple will make Chambar a restaurant where people to be happy, free and alive.

Great atmosphere, and great mix of people, food is outstanding, great value considering it's fine dining quality. Cocktails are the best in the City, really creative. Staff seems like a big family and desserts are no mere afterthought! My new favourite place.
