So, I checked out the Life bar in Whiterock for their grand opening on Saturday. Nice inside...pleather couches and loungers makes it nice, and tons of candles everywhere. They have this special "VIP" area that takes up the upper level of the bar...unfortunately it wasn't very busy, so it restricted alot of the seating. One HUGE complaint... the music was WAY TOO LOUD!! It has been 2 days since I was there, and my ears are still ringing, and feel like they are bleeding. Now, being almost 30 doesn't have anything to do with it since I attend super loud punk shows on a semi-regular basis, but being that it was just music...no band, nothing special....it really shouldn't be that loud. 2 days my ears have been ringing!! Anyways, if they turned down the music a couple notches so your ears don't bleed and so you don't lose your voice yelling at your friends and maybe open up the "VIP" area, I think it would be a pretty cool place. Now, if we could just get rid of the fellas in the white crocodile shoes......
