BRAVI RISTORANTE DESCRIPTION Famous, innovative Tuscany style cooking for the distinguished pallet. Extensive wine list from Italy, California and the rest of the world. Excellent servers with impressive wine knowledge can be found in this historical downtown location. Specializing in private and corporate functions Bravi has been rated a top restaurant in Toronto year after year. Described in the Toronto Sun as: An engaging little room that doesn't take itself too seriously. Candlelight softens tired faces; there's even a cozy little table for two at the back in what used to be a freight elevator. The antipasto platter for two offers a little of each a la carte appetizer: warm chevre, an arugula-radicchio salad, duck carpaccio and grilled polenta. It's all right to order an appetizer as a secondo if one is not up to a generous venison osso bucco or a grilled veal chop. Homemade ice creams. About half the wines are Italian; none from France. Closed Sunday.
