Ah, yes, "The Elmo": unless one is referring to it as such, there's no need for the anglo article "The", because that's what "El" means in Spanish. I remember the days before it was turned into a dance studio. My band played there a few times on Elvis Mondays, and once we even got to play on the "good" stage upstairs. Since its re-opening as a music venue, "El Mocambo" has become a great place to get shot.
