THE FIFTH
Miami comes to Toronto with The Fifth - cool, sophisticated, urbane.
Man-about-town Oliver Geddes--a smooth, approachable, worldly club owner and, best of all, a fabulously agreeable host--has launched a new club concept in Toronto. Based on the Geddes knowledge of the social club scene, The Fifth Restaurant and Social Club combines all the elements familiar to Torontonians who have visited Easy & the Fifth - but with a new level of style, service and opulence.
Says Oliver Geddes about The Fifth, renovated in 2005: “Easy & the Fifth has been the backbone of our company for nine years and now it’s time to refresh and revitalize the concept, add some new elements and roll out this concept to selected markets around the world.”
Some new elements of The Fifth Social Club include: the rock n roll lounge bar, Black Betty that has opened to the public and clientele at The Fifth Social Club . It offers a relaxed environment a little less corporate suit than The Fifth; Pop culture music from brand-new DJ’s, with an unusual and exciting concept for the DJ set up. Located in the middle of the bar, Tracks are mixed by the DJ while simultaneously bartenders are mixing drinks; and the VIP private ‘bottle service’ areas have increased to in order to ensure unprecedented level of service from start to finish.
Clients ride a ancient private elevator five floors above the club to dine at The Fifth Grill, renowned for its great food, attentive service, beautiful ambiance and spectacular terrace.
Located at 225, Richmond Street West in the posh downtown entertainment district, The Fifth draws the same levels of exceptional patronage the Geddes family have always been known for.
The Fifth Restaurant and Social Club Toronto is a trailblazing, innovative and fun night-time destination for the discriminating few who can afford it; The Fifth, afterall, is aiming to be the market leader in attracting well-to-do professionals who are interested in a unique, exclusive and exciting night-time destination where fine dining and fabulous dancing will have its patrons begging to stay after hours.
