LOBBY: Upscale bar / lounge / dress to impress / stylish.
The concept for Lobby rides on the popularity of boutique hotel lobbies all over North America. This venue design is separated into 5 separate spaces: the boulevard (patio), lobby lounge, gallery, whiteroom, and the lowerlobby. The lobby lounge features plush white sofas, which beautifully contrast with the wenge coloured accents and ornate mirrored coffee tables, creating an environment that is opulent and inviting.
Downtown Toronto's Gallery One has been commissioned to curate the Gallery area where emerging Canadian artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work (on a 60 day rotation). They have selected to feature the penetrating and evocative work of Vancouver artist Mark Gaskin for the launch. The sleek whiteroom is a formal 50 seat dining area where the menu is indulgent and best described as sophisticated comfort food. Lowerlobby is a private champagne gallery.
From inception, the idea behind Lobby has been to reinvent the experience of stylish and sophisticated dining and lounging in the vibrant heart of downtown Toronto.
Our constant strive for innovation has led to the upcoming cutting-edge redesign of Lobby for September 2006 by the "Designer Guys" which will elevate Lobby once again to its modern potential.
Lobby's sophisticated style, intuitive service and intimate grasp of modern tastes and needs ensures our clientele an unparallel level of cosmopolitan modern luxury.
