 CACHE LOUNGE DESCRIPTION
Good Music | Good Vibe | Good People | Good Times

Our address is 469 King St. West between Rodney's Oyster Bar and Brassaii Restaurant, through the alley. Just look for the MINI car dealership, we're directly across the street. We are open for business from 9:00pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In the summer we will be opening at 5:00 to cater to the executives of King St. W. and surrounding area. A multi-level deck patio is in the works to be located in front of the 10 foot steel doors that have become our trademark. We have an extensive martini list for our discerning clientele and also bottle service for vip tables.

The idea here is a New York style loft bar and lounge with lots of couches and lots of candles. The music is anything but commercial, from Buddha Bar and trip lounge to deep and sexy house featured at some of the hottest spots in Paris. Food menu is limited to mostly appetizer plates however we work closely with some of the finer restaurants in the vicinity for catering events. Complimentary hors d'ouerves are served during special events and private parties.

The atmosphere is the ideal lounge - relaxing on the weekdays where we get alot of industry friends who come to chill and unwind and a little more upbeat on the weekends. Cache is available for private parties, catered events and has become a unique space for film shoots as well.

REVIEW:
Exquisite New York-style loft bar lit with glowing candles, furnished with cushioned couches, and fittingly set on a hard-to-find back alley on King Street - Caché means ‘hidden’ in French don’t you know? A two-floor space with a gorgeous 30ft stone bar counter downstairs, bar staff specialize in champagnes and martinis, and the counter is the perfect spot for sitting at and sipping a classic with olives or a twist. Brick walls and black and white nude photos complete the décor, while the upstairs lounge has low-slung sofas and amber lighting - perfect for intimate liaisons. Sultry lounge music of the kind you get at Hotel Costes in Paris completes the picture. This might be home-from-home for visiting New York loft dwellers, but it’s something different for Toronto.

Bday party on a Sat night: Service was excellent, bar was prompt w/ no attitude, atmosphere is standard Toronto trendy club look...the look is fine but for new clubs opening in the GTA, it's time to start thinking outside the box. Sheer drapery and clean lines w/ a touch of buddist/eastern flare here and there. Nothing new or surprising. However, that said, we felt very welcomed and comfortable all night. DJ: selection of music was good however, DJ skills left much to be desired. Transitions from track -track, sloppy at best and what DJ trebles out (muffled) at the breaks? He left our party wondering whether or not he wanted us to dance. Overall, we had a good night. One of the more friendly clubs to open in T.O. in a long time. I would recommend Caché to anyone who would like to smoke indoors and is looking for an intimate atmosphere. You can dance, you can lounge and you can cruze. For a good, "safe" night out, go to Caché.
