Pinocchio Bar hosts free drag and theme nights on select evenings. Can’t let the 80s go? Neither can Pinocchio. Check out Thursday’s retro-tastic Adventures in Boyland for more old-school one-hit wonders than you can shake a stick at. If you’re into country and western music, Down Home Tuesdays might be your thing. Or maybe you’re looking for a little stage action? On Sunday nights theatre buffs from all over the city gather for the Broadway Connection.
Pinocchio’s also offers entertainment outside of theme nights, with DJs spinning a mix of dance tunes seven nights a week. Thursday and Sunday nights the focus is on retro music, while Friday and Saturday nights see contemporary pop on the turntables.
Though the bar doesn’t serve dinner, Pinocchio does stock a variety of domestic beer, both on tap and in bottles, as well as imports like Stella, Heineken, Corona and Keith’s. A pool table, video pool at the bar and arcade games provide the majority of the entertainment during the day.
