After four years of planning, two years construction and a cost of £4 million pounds, Brook Leisure proudly opened Kingdom in May 2000.

In 2001, Kingdom Nightclub was voted by the British Entertainment and Discotheque Association, Northern Discotheque of the year 2001 and UK Discotheque of the year 2001.

A mainstream commercial dance venue set in glamorous surroundings with an atmosphere which will take you to another level.

This place is okay if you like standing in line for a club that has overplayed music. The Bouncers suck and pick on people they don't like the look of. The price to get in depending on the day you go can be expensive. The drink prices are outrageous. They have three different rooms. A small room for hip-hop and R&B, the main room techno/dance, and a third room that plays cheese (crapy 80's)! Not my choice of venue, but apperently people still like it!
