The history of the Columbia City Ale House begins with the concept of hospitality. Our central element has always been people. Offering people a gathering place, whether to protect them from the outside elements by nurturing them with good food, good company and a pint of fresh, local ale or by bringing them together as a community to interact, learn and grow.
We are located in the Historical Landmark Community of Columbia City, a neighborhood just minutes from world renown Safeco Field, home to The Seattle Mariners Baseball Team, spectacular Lake Washington with it's many parks and outdoor opportunities and the Seattle waterfront with it's abundance of shops and activities.
