| Memeza Africa, a masterful fusion of African and Canadian music, dance and spirit are returning to Canada after their hugely successful 2008 tour of Western Canada. This profoundly powerful and spirited group features South African artist Jimmy Mulovhedzi together with Canadian singer/songwriter Holly Wright supported by an ensemble of 18 dynamic singers, drummers and dancers from Soweto, South Africa. This unique fusion of African and Western music combined with the energy of the traditional African rythmns and dance had audiences dancing in the aisles, weeping with emotion and on their feet with thunderous applause on their 2008 tour. |
