 Red Room Description
Red Room is the best kept secret in Providence. It is a strictly 21+ lounge which has enjoyed quiet success because it is an "underground" club in the sense that we don't advertise like other clubs do. We maintain a very upscale clientele strictly through the best kind of advertising - word or mouth. That should tell you the kind of club we have that we've been slamming for nearly 6 years without ever having advertised! As a matter of fact, you will only find us if you know about us. We're right off Federal Hill and just outside the heart of downtown Providence. Our awning over the door doesn't even have the name of the club - it only says our address which is One Fox Place. We have a very unique interior design which is modeled after the speakeasy clubs of the Prohibition era from New York City and Chicago. You won't find anything like this club as we've spent over $100,000 on custom designing the interior! (Ladies, you will be ecstatic to know that we have the cleanest bathrooms in the city! They are cleaned every hour by our staff and restocked with aromatic hand soap and hand towels accordingly.) We feature Throwback Thursdays where we play all your Old School favorites with phenomenal mash-ups. Every place in the city caters to the Romper Room crowd on Thursdays (18+) while we do the opposite! We pride ourselves on our upscale crowd and laid back atmosphere. No drama, no fights and no headaches. Plenty of FREE, secure, off- and on-street parking available. Freaky Fridays and Sexy Saturdays round out the lounge where all the sexy people come to party with our renowned house DJ - DJ Elias. We open every Thursday, Friday & Saturday @ 10pm. Call ahead for VIP reservations at (401) 273-3138. Our high tech voicemail system will let us know immediately that there is a message and we will contact you right away! Red Room also accommodates 100+ people for private parties of all kinds - birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, promotions, etc. Lastly, enjoy our private patio area with luxury tables and chairs to get some fresh air or sit and smoke one of our fine cigars from our humidor. OMG! After reading Redrooms detailed description, my party of 15 was under the impression that it was an elegant, clean, grown & sexy lounge. WRONG! RR’s online pics are deceiving. It looks like its about 1500 sq footage... WRONG! When we walked in, it looked like a basement and smelled like a basement!!! I thought we were going to be escorted to a VIP room. WRONG! It''s tiny & dingy. We were going to leave, but the bday boy said "we''re here, so lets make the best of it". So we stayed. I do have to say that the staff were ALL pleasant & tried their best to accommodate us. Not worth planning or worth the drive from Boston. If you want to go to an underground place to grab a drink, ok, RR is the place. Overall, big disappointment...
