12/31/2009New Years Eve 2010 @ 'G' Lounge (General Admission)$ TBANOTIFY ME
 'G' Lounge Description
The club is owned and designed by Mark, and Dino Minelli, former partner and GM of Luke & Leroy in New York. At roughly 10,000 square feet, the 400-head-capacity space features two full-service bars and an ever-evolving atmosphere, thanks to innovations like movable wall panels and "electronic wallpaper," projection technology that can change the mood of the lounge in a few clicks. An array of small plates sourced from Davio's include cold seafood (oysters on the half shell, tequila lime gravlax) and a selection of sliders (pulled chicken, braised beef short ribs, jumbo lump crab).

I noticed that a news channel was giving an award to Pearl Lounge/nightclub/corner bar/row home... This is a big fat joke to me!! This award was for Philadelphia''s best nightclub... Everyone that has traveled to any other city in this country can tell you that this place or anywhere in rittenhouse for that matter is not a nightclub! Pearl is a row home the size of my house. There are two places in rittenhouse that actually think of themselves as nightclubs, G Lounge and Pearl. Here is the truth.... These places are newer establishments. There crowd spawned from a group of socialites that pretty much dominated the scene at the Public House sports bar. Take away that crowd and they have nothing. Everyone knows that the second a new place opens in this area that actually has a dance floor, it won''t matter what there dj lineup looks like, it will be the new hottest place to go.
