The Scene
The Harp & Celt are actually two distinct environments connected only by their kitchens: the Harp, a fine Irish dining restaurant, and the Celt, an Irish Pub where you can nibble Scotch eggs and french fries while sipping a Guinness. The Harp occupies a historic building downtown, quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle creating a romantic setting where traditional Irish music plays as diners sit at booths carved from the building's original 1920s wood.
The Food
The Harp's flaky Salmon of Knowledge, encrusted in pistachio nuts and topped with Irish cream sauce, is perfectly cooked and satiating without being too filling. Try the braised Paddy Lambshank Redemption or the angus beef ribeye, a great buy at the 6 or 10 oz size. Most dishes are served with the creamy Colcannon, mashed potatoes with bits of bacon, and delectable kale sauteed with garlic. |
