The Scene
The Harp & Celt Restaurant and Irish Pub are actually two distinct environments connected only by their kitchens: the Harp Restaurant, a fine Irish dining restaurant without fine dining prices and the Celt, an Irish Pub where you can nibble Scotch eggs and French fries while sipping a Guinness or drinking the finest malt whiskey.
The Harp Restaurant occupies a historic building downtown, quietly tucked away from the hustle and bustle creating a romantic setting where traditional Irish music plays as diners sit at booths carved from the building's original 1920s wood.
The Celt Irish Pub located next door to the Harp Restaurant is a throw back to the traditional Irish Pubs in Dublin Ireland with fine woodwork, soccer games and live music on weekends. With a full service bar and a wide selection of spirits, malt liqueurs, whiskeys and international draft beers, the atmosphere is festive and definitely Irish when combined with the Irish drogue of the bartenders and patrons.
The Food at the Celt Irish Pub
Enjoy the smoked salmon platter or the famous HP burger at the Celt with a whole selection of homemade favorites from the cottage pie and sausage rolls to well known Dubliner roast beef sandwich. Another favorite is the Belfast burger and the Black and Tan Drunken Onion Rings.
The Food at the Harp Restaurant
The Harp's flaky Salmon of Knowledge, encrusted in pistachio nuts and topped with Irish cream sauce, is perfectly cooked and satiating without being too filling. Try the braised Paddy Lamb shank Redemption or the Angus beef rib eye, a great buy at the 6 or 10 oz size. Most dishes are served with the creamy Colcannon, mashed potatoes with bits of bacon, and delectable kale sauteed with garlic.
