If this new West Village spot seems a bit familiar, there’s a good reason. Once upon a time ago, this address used to be Nell’s and most recently the ultra elite hotspot NA. In a space that has held some of the city's most legendary venues, this latest Noel Ashman incarnation continues to be a glitzy hit with downtown club-hoppers and A-listers. Though there's no dedicated dance floor, the plum-colored and wood-paneled main room features banquettes designed to resist stilettos. The long bar rarely sees a break during crowded DJ nights, but you'll find a less raucous vibe in a small downstairs lounge.


Along with celebrity co-owners like Chris Noth, Damon Dash, and Samantha Ronson, NA owner and frontman Noel Ashman has completely renovated the space and given it a stunning, decadent atmosphere. Huge, ultramodern orange lamps accent a broad, uncluttered space dominated by deep, sexy purple hues. As if The Plumm wasn’t enough of a celebrity magnet, there’s even a downstairs lounge, but keep in mind it’s even more exclusive.
