CIELO
From its state-of-the-art space in Downtown's ultra-chic Meat Packing District, Cielo provides a music program specializing in deeply soulful house music as well as various genres of electronic music.
Cielo is a haven for mature individuals seeking intelligent nightlife with neither the hassles of large clubs nor the elitism of upscale lounges with too many VIP rooms. Once you are in Cielo, there will be no more ropes, checkpoints, or rules. Security's goal is to compliment the experience, not to hinder it.
Cielo has set a new level in New York nightlife by going back to basics: the best DJ's on the planet, a strong door, impeccable service, stunning decor and lighting, and a sound system which will blow the most fastidious audiophile's socks off.

The space is purpose-built for dancing with a sunken dance-floor in the epicenter of the room. Banquettes surround the floor, decked out in gorgeously graded brown and beige suede with a range of inventive lighting effects conceived to enhance the design of the club. Cielo also boasts a stunning outdoor smoking garden.
The goal at Cielo is the careful selection of all the right ingredients and characters that combine to make an eclectic crowd mix. There is a current trend towards smaller venues because of the greater intimacy that they can offer. When individuals pass the age of 25 or so, they get tired of the herd mentality. They want to go somewhere they can conduct a conversation, somewhere they can be heard, not herded. Cielo is that happy medium - a bit glam, a bit chic, yet still underground, vibrant, and music-driven.
New Yorkers can look forward to a wealth of musical talent finding a new platform from which they can be heard. In its first 8 months, Cielo has featured some of the biggest names in the dance music arena: Francois Kervokian, Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, Deepdish, Tedd Patterson, and Victor Calderone to name a few.
