Café Chaos is a cooperative bar and concert hall supporting the underground, DIY scene since 1995, located in the heart of Montreal's Latin Quarter.
The Café offers only microbrewery beers (no Labatt or Molson!), Fair Trade and organic coffees, teas and herbal teas, is open seven days a week from 3pm to 3am mon to fri and from 5pm to 3am sat and sun.
The second floor concert hall offers live shows 7 nights per week, while the first floor pub is always free, offers a huge screen for sports events or movies, wall space for local artists to exhibit their works, table soccer, and a small bistro menu.
Despite having a "punk" reputation, Cafe Chaos is open to everyone and we do not judge anyone. All styles are welcome and indeed most of the time you can find a healthy mix of punks, students, metal heads, hip hoppers and even some emo kids...and everyone gets along.
