The Main Room of the 21st Century has seen more of the biggest bands & popular celebrities than anywhere else on the Peninsula.
We've hosted premier live performances from the likes of, Grinspoon, Super Jesus, Leonardo's Bride, The Divinyls, Hoodoo Gurus, Skyhooks, Midnight Oil, Deborah Conway, 28 DAYS, The Mavis', The Fauves, The Meanies, Killing Heidi, CDB, T-Shirt, Betty Boo, Quindin Tarver, Ash, The Teaparty, RUN DMC, The Screaming Jets, Hunters & Collectors, The Living End, Eskimo Joe, Stereophonics, Powderfinger, SuperHeist, Moloko, Palladium, Unwritten Law, Diane Ahnaid, Skulker, Frenzal Rhomb, Regurgitator, The Whitlams, Area 7 with many more to come.
Some of Melbourne's finest DJs who began or have played at the 21 are Sean Quinn, &y Van, John Course, Colin McMillan, Kasey Taylor, Tom Campbell, Sean Reid, Peter MacNamara, Tony C, Vas One, Jason Dacosta, Damon Boyd & Grant Smillie.
With powerful lighting, a laser show, pools tables, a massive island bar and access to all rooms the 21 is still the biggest party on the Peninsula.
Pelly
The Pelly or Pelly Bar is home to two of Melbourne's hottest cover bands being Crave on Friday night & Spin on Saturday night. These bands play host to the party atmophere responsible for making the Pelly packed on both nights.
As one of the oldest alternative rooms on the Peninsula the Pelly has had guests such as Pre Shrunk, BodyJar, Motorace, Tumbleweed, Superheist, Waylaid, & Another Race, with too many to mention.
The Pelly is available for function hire on a Saturday night only.
Sub Club
The Sub Club was once the original room for Progressive Dance in Frankston but has now affectionately become "The Home of House". "Rhythm @ Sub" every Saturday features "The Cream of House & Garage" with all new warm lighing, cocktail menu & lounge like seating. The Sub also features local and international Dj's doing guest sets each month so come in & enjoy: "...a little bit of the city, right here in Frankston!"
Voyeur Bar
With wicked backdrops & blood red colour, the Voyeur Room is one of the latest additions to the 21. In the past the Voyeur Room has hosted themes such as the Correction Centre - 7 Deadly Sins & Naughty But Nice - Live Tattooing.
Open every Saturday night & only some Fridays, the Voyeur Bar occasionaly holds Members parties & Diva Parties & is also available for Hire.
Location
The 21 is located Upper Level, 1 Davey Street, Frankston. The 21 is on the beachside of Nepean Hwy, with ample parking under (this section is patrolled by Security and a Guard Dog) and around the building. The Melways Reference is 100A, B 7, locate the Pier Hotel and that is where the 21 is situated as the buildings as adjoined.
