LA FONDA ANTIOQUEÑA DESCRIPTION One of the best colombian restaurants in the United States is in the heart of Los Angeles, La Fonda Antioqueña. Germán Rodriguez (Don Germán), the owner, an immigrant from the city of Manizales in Colombia, decided to come to the US in pursue of better opportunities for him and his family. Don Germán worked for La Fonda Antioqueña initially as a waiter and then after 8 years of service he became the owner of this famous establishment. Don Germán gets up very early every day in the morning to buy the freshest ingredients and to oversee every detail in the preparation of secret recipes.
