Jewels Catch One, off the traditional strip of perpetual nightlife offers an underground scene of dancing and bar life in a setting that mixes up urban and hip in the most LA of ways. The club offers a large dance floor that is host to weekly theme parties that range from strippers to diva karaoke with each night providing a different sampling of area crowds.
The location features a down-home style drinking bar that with an element of naughtiness while still offering a sexy and fun environment. The place is so hip in fact that Madonna herself chose it as the site to ask "Do you boogie-woogie" at the launch party of her Music album in 2000.
Combining raw urban flair with an event lineup that swims the lines of sexual energy, Jewel's Catch One is the premier dance club outside the usual dancing scene. -- Michael Martin (Photo: Michael Flocker)
