The Bourbon Theatre
Box Awesome's Bourbon Theatre is an extension of a vision that began when the Moore family opened Box Awesome in the historic Haymarket in the summer of 2007. With this new venture, Lincoln will benefit from what L. Kent Wolgamott from the Journal Star described as "already the most impressive club in town." With a capacity of 637, the Bourbon will be able to host bands that have outgrown the intimate confines of Box Awesome. When shows aren't on the daily calendar, patrons can still take advantage of our vast selection of bourbons across a wide range of qualities. With intentions of making the Bourbon Theatre a mutli-use theatre that hosts music, movies, comedy and beyond, we're excited to begin a new chapter in Lincoln's musical history.
The Bourbon Theatre is available for your event. We host an array of public and private events including wedding receptions, graduation parties, work parties, holiday parties, concerts, lectures, gaming events, private movie screenings. Let us know your plan and we will customize a rental package for you. Our space offers a standing capacity of 637 or approximately 300 seated. Amenities include a large dance floor, two full service bars and private office space. Our video projections are available in HD, Blu Ray, DVD and 35mm formats, all projected on a 35-ft screen. We also offer a professional sound and lighting system that can be utilized for anything from a public speech to a large-scale concert. |
