| Located in the heart of Hamilton's Hess Village, the Funky Munky is Hamilton's most eclectic nightspot offering a variety of atmospheres all in one fun filled location. The main floor is divided into three distinct areas. The entire north section is a cozy yet spacious solarium with ample seating that is a great place to meet, sit with friends and enjoy a beverage or sample something off our tasty menu. Located along George St., a pedestrian walkway, it's an ideal spot for people watching. The Southwest section houses the largest of the four bars and has a great traditional pub atmosphere. Always lively, this is a great place to meet new people or just have a lively cup of cheer with your friends. In the summertime, this area has a giant garage door that swings open to our huge multi level west side patio, complete with it's own outdoor bar. The South east section features our main floor D.J. booth with a lively dance floor serviced by it's own bar. Two glass doors open to the east side patio which offers great outdoor seating along with pool tables, all smartly covered by a huge open air canopy. The entire second floor is dedicated to the Funky Munky Disco. Complete with a state of the art D.J. booth, cool light show and a kick ass sound system, this room is perfect for those who want to dance their ass off! Serviced by it's own bar, being upstairs in the disco is a completely different world only steps away. |
