LELAND CITY CLUB DESCRIPTION Leland City Club is Detroit''s original alternative night club! The ambiance: darkly lit and avant garde. There is a full bar, a good sized dance floor with a powerful sound system, and a lounge area for conversation. In general, it''s an awesome place if you really dig industrial music and you''re looking for a high energy yet comfortable place to hang out with your friends or to meet interesting people. Hundreds attend every weekend night. Access is granted by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell.

Atmosphere is very dark, very loud, thumping, energizing music. Lots of friendly, interesting people to meet. Most drinks (that I know of) are either $4, $5, or $6. Most people usually wear all black with chains, rings, etc. The more alternative the better! Great place! Beware - they will stop serving drinks around 1:30 - 2ish and only serve water after that.
