The Cabaret Cocktail Boutique journey begins before you even walk through the door. Thanks to the Glamorous Marquee that’s been looking over Chicago’s Hubbard St. for the past few months. The River North location on Hubbard is just steps away from the city’s top Hotels and central to the cities Hip neighborhoods. Hubbard St. is already a playground for the nightlife crowd of all ages. Cabaret fits the neighborhood like a glove. It’s a modern day twist on lounge life that’s dark, moody and oozes with sexiness.
Cabaret is in your face with a style that compliments today’s love of luxury, risqué-style and Vegas inspired Glitz. The amazing combination is what Chicagoans have been thirsting for, for way to long. When partner's Todd Rubin, Phil Lotsoff, and Marc Bortz thought about what they loved best about their nightlife experiences, the vision for Cabaret became crystal clear. Todd Rubin says, "We wanted to do something different, something that would really make a statement. I always loved the glamour of old-school Hollywood and Vegas... I really wanted to bring that sexiness to Chicago. I wanted to fill the void." Cabaret is about entertainment. Cabaret is a lounge that dances. Marc Bortz includes, " There is always going to be something going on, something to look at, and something to keep you busy."
The venue houses three lounges areas but in an open floor plan. The room itself is lined with Corinthian style capitals inside etched glass columns coordinated with moody and colorful recessed floor lighting. There are three full service bars with white corian tops and hints of Raku stone, Terrazzo, Brazilian Cherry wood floors and recessed lighting in the floors and walls throughout. Other details include Louis XVI talbes protected in retro plexi-glass and splashes of ruby red gold hues.
The back corner has what will be the most coveted VIP room in the city. The area is intimate but bold and refreshing and will be sure to seduce the regulars who like to play hard.

Phil Lotsoff adds, " that nightlife has gotten away from entertaining and the ease that nightlife should have. It shouldn't be so hard to have a great time.
