The Art Gallery of Calgary is a non-profit public art gallery dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art. The AGC has been part of Calgary’s cultural life for over 25 years, and is one of Canada’s largest non-collecting contemporary art galleries.
Located in two historic buildings in Calgary’s vibrant downtown cultural district, the AGC features 6,000 square feet of exhibition space and a multi-use education centre. We offer between 12 and 15 exhibitions each year, showcasing works by emerging and established Calgary artists; works by leading Canadian artists; and traveling exhibitions from prestigious institutions such as the National Gallery of Canada and the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
Welcoming to both artists and the public, the AGC helps make art part of everyday life. We offer a wide range of artist talks, gallery tours and other quality educational programs for all ages.
