 The Roxx Description
The Roxx was built in 1931 as the Roxy Theatre, and was converted into The Roxx in 1989. With constantly updated lighting, special effects and a 50,000 watt sound system The Roxx has no problems filling up Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Wednesday nights in the summer are All Ages and Sundays are for Special Events.


The Roxx is the very heart of the downtown Barrie club scene and as the largest nightclub north of Toronto has no trouble pulling crowds from the city too.

Huge bar, fantastic lay-out and atmosphere. Great staff, but too young a "population" for me. Appears most partiers are 19-24ish (college scene)
