The original pub, which opened in September of 1991, has been a cultural melting pot for the past twelve years. In the beginning, "Central Station" (as the space was prior named) was the place for Happy Hour. Our infamous Happy Hour, grew from trial and error, and eventually in 1999 the upper restaurant was converted to what is now our Video Bar. A downstairs pool deck was also added after much request.
In January of 2003, "Central Station" embarked on a new vision with the purchase of the building next door, formerly "The Stagecoach" turned "Phase One/Two." During it's grand opening in May 2003 "Grand Central" premiered Baltimore's newest night spot with five separate areas for entertainment and six bars for service making "Grand Central" the largest GLBTQS facility in the area.
