Hooker’s Green takes its name from a shade of green, as a special pigment for leaves, created by botanist William Hooker. Located below The New Oxford Public House, the two venues are connected via a winding staircase through the New Oxford's library which leads into Hooker's Green's games area. The games area includes a pool table, pinball and jukebox, while the signature sidewalk patio lends itself to people-watching. The state of the art sound system throughout adds versatility to the room, with nightly programming showcasing live bands and DJs. With an evolving bar program of rotating craft beer taps and cocktails, the drink menu at Hooker’s Green provides a suitable antidote for the discerning drinker. The food menu consists of seasonal items and modern-day pub staples, utilizing more locally sourced, sustainable and organic ingredients.
