Naya is the dream of owner Dr. Michael Everest and Chef Imram Ali Moohki. Both wanted to create an establishment that would be at once inviting, inspiring and exotic. They also wanted to create and serve a new, updated version of the Indian cooking they knew by heart. Thus Naya, meaning “new” in Hindi, became the name. With the help of an elaborate design from Spacecraft, Naya Sunset & Naya Lounge opened in November 2011.
